Abstract
This video is looking at addressing modes - the methods used by programmers to locate data. This presentation introduces these basic programming modes - Register direct, Address register indirect, Absolute, Immediate, PC relative for branches. After watching this video, you should be able to describe the purpose of each of the basic addressing modes used in the MC68000, explain how each basic addressing mode locates data within a register or memory; and identify the addressing modes that require extension words
