dc.description.abstractThis video discusses external exceptions - including normal exception that includes internal instruction: error condition, and external request: error condition. By the end of this presentation you be able to describe how interrupts are received, deskewed, and masked by the MC68000 microprocessor; explain the basic sequesnce of events during the processing of an interrupt; explain how the MC68000 handles vectored and auto-vectored interrupts; describe an example of interrupt circuitry with an auto-vectoring device; describe an example og interrupt circuitry with a vectoring device; describe how multiple interrupting devices on the same level are handled; explain the conditions under which external circuitry asserts BERR; and describe the information stacked during BERR exceptions.en_US
